• Newark market - Wednesday 8th October
• Mansfield market place - Thursday 9th October
• Beeston market - Friday 10th October
• West Bridgford Park - Saturday 11th October

A new Materials Recycling Facility (MRF) will soon be opening in Nottinghamshire.

What is a Materials Recycling Facility (MRF)?

A MRF is a facility where recyclable materials that are collected mixed up are sent to be sorted out. This facility will sort the things you put in your recycling bin into paper, card, cans and plastics. Each material is then bulked and sent onto another licensed treatment facility where it will be made into new products.

When it opens, the new facility near Mansfield, will sort all of the 85,000 tonnes of waste that you put in your recycling bins each year.
